QUIVER. Sexual Debut Stories: Lenore. By Lisa Ellex
Who made YOU Quiver? PrimeCrush columnist Lisa Ellex wants to know. Just whisper it in her ear and your “first-time” story could be the inspiration for her next Quiver column. Anonymity a concern? She'll change your name, location, and any other piece of identifying info, just like they do in the witness protection program. Except you don't have to move. So if you want to Quiver with us, contact lisaellex@gmail.com
Now in her mid-60s, Lenore has been working in the New York City real estate market for over 30 years. At present, she is happily single.
Each summer before my sister, Lydia, and I left for camp, my parents would take us on a week-long family vacation. Never visiting the same place twice made for fond memories of various destinations including the Catskills, Atlantic City, and a very magical Cape Cod. But the summer memory I hold most dear began at a now-defunct resort in the Poconos.
To enjoy their privacy, my parents would book two rooms; one for them and an adjoining room for me and Lydia. Since we did not have a television in the bedroom we shared at home, Lydia would take full advantage of our hotel room TV, surfing all seven of the available channels of the day until the National Anthem played at 2 a.m., signaling the end of broadcasting until morning (yes, kids, until the late 1970s TV was NOT broadcast 24 hours a day!). To this day, my sister recalls those nights as the highlight of her vacation. I recall them as the cause of me sleeping through breakfast. So, after enduring a morning of family horseback riding on a grumbling tummy, I made a beeline for the poolside food concession to order a hotdog and a Coke. And that’s where I first saw Duke. Thin, tan, and muscular, with jet black hair that fell over one eye, the sight of him made me understand the meaning of the word “swoon.”
“What can I get you?” he said with a smile that revealed the most perfect teeth I had ever seen.
“Hi,” was all I could manage to say.

The PrimeCrush Toy Tester Project. Maude Cone
Here is the latest report in our PrimeCrush Toy Tester Project, in which actual PrimeCrush Readers agree to try out and review for the rest of us a range of sex products (toys, lubes, books, vibrators, you name it).

The Maude Cone is a small non-vibrating toy for anal play, with a tapered shape and flared base designed for a safe and comfortable fit. Please note that two of our three testers indicated that they were new to this type of sex play but gave it a try. All three testers recommended the Maude Cone, which suggests it might be a great option for those who are not experienced with anal play (as well as those who are).
Would you recommend Maude Cone to other CRUSH Readers?
3 out of 3 toy testers said “Yes.”
Here are some specific comments on the Maude Cone:
Tell us whether you enjoyed your Maude Cone.
- We're just getting started with this toy. Anal is fairly new to both of us and the size and materials of this plug have made it very fun and easy to experiment. Although it's small(er), the sensation is still awesome. Easy cleaning too. Love it! - “CJ”
- Even if you dont care to plug it all the way in, great size and shape for anal dildo fun too - “Harry”
- “The thing is, once I got this as part of the PrimeCrush Sex Toy Tester program I figured I should try it. I am not one who would have proactively gone out and bought this — sought it out. I explained to my partner that it was “my job” to try all the toys in my Toy Tester box, so we spent a night playing with it. Slowly and with lube. And then we tried it again (on the weekend). And then we tried it again the next weekend. You get the picture. Do I love anal? I’m not sure yet but what I do love is the fun my partner and I had trying something new. It’s like reading the 101 Kinky book! The act of discovery together is a gift of intimacy in and of itself.
PS: As for lube with this! We like the Sliquid Soul (organic) not the Sliquid Sizzle for anal play (omg, please, the plug was enough “sizzle” we didn’t need the extra warmth). The Sliquid (natural) is thicker than other lubes we’ve tried.

PrimeCrush & Chill: Steamy Films Worth A Re-Watch: Body Heat. By Christian Pan
In this series from Christian Pan, we hook back up with our favorite ex's--as in classic steamy movies worth a re-watch.
Body Heat (1981)
Starring: Kathleen Turner, William Hurt, Richard Crenna
Released: August 28, 1981 (USA)
Basic Plot: A small-time lawyer thinks he is helping a beautiful woman murder her husband so the two can run away together, but she has other plans.
In a tiny town in Florida, Ned Racine (William Hurt) is a lawyer with a reputation: sometimes, he´ll squeeze or bend the law to make it all fit, for him and his clients. Restless with women and hungry with ambition, he thinks he's going to enjoy some no-strings-attached sex when he meets the beautiful but married Matty Walker (Kathleen Turner). But when he discovers how rich her husband Edmund (Richard Crenna) is, and how badly Matty wants him dead, Racine thinks he's being the hero when he proposes murdering him, collecting the money from his estate, and then run away together. Too late, Racine discovers that Matty´s made him into the fall guy, and that this beautiful woman is far more cunning than he initially thought. As the cops get closer and closer to putting him in the frame, and as Matty continues to make her plans to take the money and run, will Racine be able to confront her in time?
Why Re-watch: After co-writing the screenplays for both Raiders of the Lost Ark and the Empire Strikes Back, Lawrence Kasdan made his directorial debut with the erotic-thriller Body Heat, which he also wrote. The influence of film noir can be felt throughout the movie, from the moody score composed by John Barry to the crackling dialogue, subtle symbolism in the visual vocabulary (the fog, shots of the spider web along with the wind chimes, Racine glimpsing the clown). Set in the South during an unexpected and exceptionally hot summer, few seem to be thinking straight due to the heat; “It's all emergency time,” Det. Oscar Grace (J.A. Preston) warns ominously at one point.

A Turntable and a Candle: F-ing Classics. By Lady Verity
A compilation of tunes sure to get you in the mood.
Nothing is more surefire romance than a turntable and a candle. You can spin some vinyl on your vintage Garrard turntable (with a Shure M-91ED needle). Or you can playlist these tunes or even do a Siri shoutout, though in the name of romance I’d advise skipping the last option.
Here’s a compilation of tunes sure to push your mood buttons big time and in all the right places…and put all systems on “go”:
“Lovesong” by The Cure
Simply a perfect love song composed in a minor key. Melodic and dreamy and because spinning “Bolero” is just too cliché.
“Butterfly” by Crazy Town
Something so joyous and turn-on about this tune. “Come, come my lady, you’re my butterfly, my sugar, baby…” What’s not to like?
“Je t'aime… Moi Non Plus” by Serge Gainsbourg
When Brigitte Bardot (married at the time) had an affair with Serge Gainsbourg, she asked him to write the most beautiful love song for her. This is it. Even if you don’t understand French, it’s not about the words.
